Job Description
Leading and overseeing water/wastewater engineering evaluations and design on a variety of projects, including water balance studies. Applying innovative treatment processes to remove pollutants, including emerging contaminants, from water and wastewater. Developing feasibility study, basis of design, and performance monitoring reports. Developing engineerβs construction cost estimates for treatment systems. Supporting permitting efforts with local, regional, and national permitting agencies. Developing construction documents, including design drawings, specifications, bid forms, and startup plans. Conducting or overseeing field investigations, construction support services, startup/shakedown, O&M, and operator training. Managing multi-disciplinary project teams, including internal and external stakeholders. Interacting with client representatives and negotiating with regulatory agencies. Consistent with a sell-manage-do business model, play a role supporting lead generation, business development, staff development, and mentoring. Help broaden reputation via publishing and/or presenting at prominent industry conferences.
