Sustainability Data Analyst

This is an exciting opportunity for a technically capable Sustainability Data Analyst to join our research team. The role will suit someone with strong analytical skills, solid data processing capabilities, and a passion for sustainability. You will help build scalable emissions calculation infrastructure, streamline data pipelines, and contribute to product features that support real-world decarbonisation. You’ll work cross-functionally across the product, customer, and data teams, building robust and repeatable systems that integrate sustainability knowledge with engineering rigour. Lead and deliver complex data analytics and ETL projects with minimal oversight (e.g. emission factor ingestion pipelines and emissions model development). Design, test, and implement scalable emissions calculation methods in line with GHG Protocol and other relevant standards. Troubleshoot and resolve ETL pipeline issues proactively, collaborating with product engineering teams where needed. Apply scripting languages (e.g., Python, SQL) to clean, transform, and analyse data at scale. Collaborate with Customer Success and Footprinting Services to gather requirements and improve project delivery. Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, acting as a trusted partner across departments. Identify areas for process and product improvement and help implement them. Lead internal training or knowledge-sharing sessions on sustainability topics.
