Job Description
The Healthcare Data Operations Analyst will join Zócalo Health at a critical time in the history of our company and of primary care; the opportunity for impact is large and growing. Zócalo Health will lead the transition from fee-for-service to value-based care for the growing Latino community in the U.S. An integral member of the Zócalo Health team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of data shared with our Medicaid health plan partners — including preparing and submitting structured performance files that confirm member outcomes, outreach activity, and care delivery. You will support critical workflows that enable performance accountability, care quality, and business growth.
The Healthcare Data Operations Analyst will contribute in the following ways: Own data reconciliation and reporting workflows needed to submit accurate RTF/OTF files to Medicaid health plans. Gather, validate, and prepare data from multiple sources (EHR, eligibility files, outreach tracking sheets, care coordination documentation). Identify missing or inconsistent fields and partner with Operations to resolve issues. Track submission schedules, confirmation receipts, and errors requiring follow-up. Maintain documentation including version control, change logs, SOPs, and reporting calendars. Monitor metrics such as outreach outcomes, data completeness, and submission acceptance rates. Collaborate with Product/Data teams to translate today’s manual workflows into future automation. Support one-off and recurring health plan data requests with accuracy and urgency.
