CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a Gameplay Animator to join our team working on Project Sirius - an original video game combining beloved aspects of The Witcher world with immersive multiplayer gameplay. The Gameplay Animator will have a solid understanding of current AAA-quality animation techniques and software, and use these skills to bring to life the characters and monsters that populate the game world. They are expected to maintain quality and artistic consistency as defined by the Art Director.

The Animator is responsible for creating high-quality animations of 3D characters, weapons, vehicles, and cameras for both gameplay and cinematic sequences. Responsibilities include creating gameplay and cinematic animations using hand key animation and motion capture data. The animator will manipulate motion capture data within Maya and Motion Builder to achieve desired performance while maintaining the integrity of the base mocap data.
The Crowds Animator is a crucial role in the Crowds Department, crafting animation that will be propagated throughout crowd elements in shots small and large. Animation is to be done on a variety of characters depending on project needs. A Crowds Animator needs to have a keen sense of performance that both stands out in quality and grasps the interactions necessary when duplicated into large groups.
In this contract role, you will be responsible for creating rigs for heroes, enemies, weapons, vehicles, and props, and supporting Art and Animation teams with scripts and tools. Contributes to the design, implementation, and maintenance of the character rigging pipeline.
