As the Code & Zoning Specialist, you will work with a team of seasoned engineers, architects, and certified city planners to improve and streamline the processing and adjudication of code and zoning determination requests, while ensuring the promotion of safe, code and zoning complying construction. Reporting to the Director of Code and Zoning Interpretation, the selected individual will engage in critical operations, review high-profile projects, and serve as a key code and zoning expert.

The ideal candidate will have urban design skills and a strong grasp of land use and public policy issues, including zoning, affordable housing and economic development. They should possess strong communication and facilitation skills; an ability to grasp complex policy issues and disseminate research and data practically.
