The Athletic is seeking an Associate Newsroom SEO Editor to enhance audience engagement. This role focuses on optimizing news content, guiding live journalism, and fostering an audience-centric newsroom, requiring expertise in monitoring performance and organic rankings, along with clear communication skills and a passion for sports journalism.
The Senior Manager, SEO & AIO will report to the Senior Director of Digital Scaled Marketing and work closely with the SEO team, SEM Team, content writers, marketing technology, and business leads from the demand generation team. This role will manage the SEO team and drive forward results cross-functionally including through AIO.
Reporting to the Director of Growth, the SEO Lead will play a pivotal role in scaling Felix’s organic growth engine by leading our search strategy across AI-optimized content, technical SEO, and organic conversion funnels. This role is focused on driving non-paid acquisition, expanding Felix’s digital presence across high-intent health categories, and using AI-enhanced tools and insights to build a durable SEO moat.
