Empower is looking for a Tax Manager to join our Finance team and oversee our tax function. You will support our efforts in tax compliance, provisioning, and business licensing, in addition to other tax analyses and licensing requirements. You will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external third party firms. This role will report to our Chief Accounting Officer.

Lead the corporate and product tax functions, ensuring compliance with all federal and state tax laws while optimizing tax strategies to minimize liability, maximize after-tax profits, and ensure proper tax reporting to Protective’s customers. Involves strategic planning, policy development, and oversight of all corporate and product tax-related activities within the organization.
