Carbon Direct

Seeking a power and energy systems modeling expert to support the expanding portfolio of work on decarbonizing the electric grid. The primary focus will be on power system modeling, and strong candidates will have deep familiarity with running and interpreting capacity expansion and production cost models at both national and sub-national scales.

You'll actively shape product direction through strategic design decisions, using AI-enhanced design workflows to explore and prototype quickly, while also collaborating closely with engineering and product to deliver meaningful solutions. The role requires proactive learning in a complex, science-driven space, where designers are expected to self-direct their understanding of concepts in order to keep pace with a fast-moving development environment and contribute meaningfully to product direction.
