Salary DistributionThis position will play a key role in ensuring Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) as CORE’s modality of choice during an emergency response by providing technical assistance across the program cycle. Adapt CORE’s CVA Toolkit as needed for context, provide CVA response modality and delivery mechanism leadership and expertise in assessments, including market assessment and analysis. Manage the program, coordinate with team members and represent CORE to stakeholders, and conduct capacity building.
Deploy across the United States as part of a dynamic emergency response team, activated for natural disasters, public health emergencies, and other crisis situations requiring immediate health and medical intervention. Conduct health assessments for individuals affected by emergencies within scopes of practice for certification/licensure level. Provide emergency care and wellness checks, ensuring rapid and effective response to life-threatening conditions.
This position enhances CORE's emergency food assistance capabilities by providing technical support, contributing to strategy and proposal development, and implementing a gender-sensitive food assistance program. The role involves building staff and partner capacity, ensuring programs integrate humanitarian principles, protection, and gender minimum standards, with rapid deployment often within 72 hours of a crisis.
Play a key role in positioning CORE’s WASH capacity during an emergency response by providing technical assistance across the program cycle. Rapidly deploy in close coordination with CORE’s Sr. Director of Humanitarian Response. Provide technical assistance, coordination, and support harmonization of programming needs and operational support for rapid response.
