The Engineering Lead will lead a team of software engineers across both front-end and back-end to drive innovation in full-stack product development. Responsibilities include nurturing and mentoring engineering talent, developing roadmaps with product management, writing clean code in Ruby, Python, and Typescript, while maintaining high availability of products and quick response to any production incidents.

As a Senior Front-End Software Engineer on the Lead Generation team, you’ll build experiences that power how Kin attracts, qualifies, and connects with prospective customers. Your work will span everything from marketing site enhancements and campaign-driven experiments to engineering systems that support our growing lead infrastructure. This includes designing front-end features that interface with internal APIs and third-party platforms that deliver marketing leads.

Play a crucial role in driving the growth of Kin's business by connecting with clients and promoting a wide range of insurance products through A-rated carriers. This role provides important consultation for home insurance needs and other products such as auto, umbrella, and flood insurance. Qualified leads are provided - no cold calling required. Develop the best policies to protect the insured’s home and auto by building customized quotes to ensure they receive the best service possible.
