Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop treatment plans.
- Prescribe psychotropic medications and educate patients on risks.
- Monitor medication usage and side effects.
Compliance & Documentation:
- Document patient histories, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and national standards of care.
- Complete accurate documentation in the EHR.
Patient Assessment & Diagnosis:
- Assess patients’ mental and physical status.
- Diagnose psychiatric disorders and mental health conditions.
- Order diagnostic testing as needed.
