Senior Backend Engineer, Internal Software

Drive improvements to data-intensive workflows, ensure platform reliability, and enable engineers and scientists to build with speed, confidence, and clarity. Maintain and lead improvements to data-intensive services and applications written predominantly in Python. Measure and optimize the performance of user-facing workflows across our suite of applications. Ensure the integrity of changing data via schema migrations and testing. Improve data platform observability for all stakeholders. Manage communications to users about service reliability, active priorities, and development roadmap. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, and geographic location.
