Remote- Aerospace QMS Auditor

This is a part-time, on-call Quality Management System (QMS) Auditor position. The auditor will perform 2nd party audits of suppliers on behalf of our customers to ensure compliance with AS9100 and other quality standards. Travel, often out of state, is required and compensated. Work assignments are scheduled based on availability and audit timelines. Roles and Responsibilities include performing on-site QMS audits, completing audit reports, documenting nonconformances, issuing Corrective Action Requests (CARs), following up on CARs, participating in training programs, and coordinating audit scheduling. Basic Qualifications include an undergraduate degree with 2+ years of quality/industry experience or equivalent, current QMS or Aerospace auditor accreditation, experience performing on-site QMS audits, familiarity with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA), and the ability to travel. Preferred Qualifications include hands-on experience with audits aligned to the AS9100 standard and strong communication skills.
