Internal Communications Generalist (Contract)

We are seeking a creative and strategic Internal Communications Generalist to join our team. Reporting to the Director, Internal Communications, you will collaborate closely with various teams within the Foundation to craft and deliver messaging and opportunities to staff that foster employee engagement and support our organizational goals. Your work will include creating written and visual content to support messaging across our existing internal channels, as well as supporting the Internal Communications team to develop new and dynamic content and platforms for the organization (e.g., videos, blog posts, newsletter). You will also assist the Internal Communications team in coordinating different engagement opportunities for staff. You will help to foster a positive, inclusive culture while ensuring consistent, clear messaging that resonates with staff across the organization. The ideal candidate is a passionate storyteller and strategic communicator who can juggle multiple tasks, including responding to time-sensitive requests. You are experienced in creating written, visual, and digital content that is compelling and simplifies complex ideas for a diverse staff audience. You are equally comfortable with supporting the coordination and logistics of engagement sessions and opportunities. You are organized, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing to a culture of openness and inclusivity through effective communication.
