Strategic Oversight:
- Own the top-level DoD compliance strategy for each military branch.
- Build a scalable compliance governance program.
- Establish documentation standards and audit preparation processes.
Team Leadership:
- Manage a compliance team.
- Ensure compliance review gates prior to product release.
- Validate the effectiveness of technical controls through review and audit processes.
Customer Engagement:
- Interface with DoD stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary compliance representative to DoD stakeholders and auditors.
- Partner with the engineering team to integrate compliance into the development lifecycle.
