Senior SOX Associate

The Senior SOX Associate will lead the coordination and oversight of third-party co-source SOX providers, participate in SOX risk assessment, and assist management in updating process documentation over internal controls. This role involves assisting in the planning, execution, and documentation of the SOX compliance program, including walkthroughs and control testing for both business and IT controls. You will evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting, identify control deficiencies, and work with process owners to develop and implement remediation plans. Furthermore, the role includes partnering with external auditors, maintaining updated process documentation, and assessing changes in business processes, systems, and applications to evaluate SOX impact. The candidate will support the development and enhancement of company-wide internal control policies and procedures, provide guidance and training to business units on SOX requirements, and participate in other compliance and risk management initiatives.
