About the Role:

• We are launching perpetual futures and need Senior Backend Engineers to own the core systems that make it run.
• This is backend exchange engineering in the truest sense: low-latency order matching, high-throughput order state management, and infrastructure for reliability.
• Ownership here is real and broad; you will step in with deep context and take meaningful ownership of critical backend components.

What You'll Do:

• Own core exchange backend systems, including order matching, position management, and order state across perpetual futures.
• Build and optimize the matching engine, profiling hot paths and reducing lock contention to improve latency and throughput.
• Design for correctness at scale, building queueing and backpressure mechanisms to keep the orderbook consistent and reliable under high load.
