Process Automation Controls Engineer

About the Role:

• This is a high-impact engineering role within a global environment, focused on advancing process automation and control capabilities.
• You will lead automation scope of capital projects from initial design through commissioning and provide technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle.

What You'll Do:

• Serve as the technical authority for automation deliverables, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety requirements.
• Provide ongoing automation support for operational facilities, including lifecycle management and cybersecurity initiatives.
• Travel approximately 25% domestically and occasionally internationally for commissioning and project activities.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, or related field preferred, with 10+ years of controls engineering experience.
• Strong experience with DCS platforms like Emerson DeltaV, ABB 800xA, or Rockwell, and deep understanding of control philosophy.
• Proven ability to lead projects, balance technical standards with operational priorities, and collaborate across teams.
