Senior Staff Accountant

As a key member of the finance team, the Senior Accountant is critical in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting month-end close. This role delivers key insights to drive decision-making, leads core accounting operations, collaborates cross-functionally, supports audit readiness, and helps mentor junior accounting staff. The Senior Accountant will lead and execute monthly and quarterly close processes, including journal entries and closing schedules. They will prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations and perform detailed variance analysis. Payroll and benefit accounting and sales tax compliance are also key components. They will support audit activities, review junior staff transactions, and participate in special projects like system enhancements. Supporting internal controls and driving policy standardization is essential.
