Data Migration Engineer

Support the migration of workforce management data across legacy and modern platforms within the PTEMS environment. Assist with data mapping, transformation, and validation processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with VA standards. Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and operations teams to troubleshoot data quality issues and implement corrective actions. Document migration processes, workflows, and technical procedures for operational and compliance needs. Monitor and validate data transfers, ensuring consistency between source and target systems. Participate in system cutovers, reconciliations, and post-migration validation activities. Provide technical support for ongoing data migration, integration, and reporting efforts. Contribute to cross-functional meetings with technical and business stakeholders to align on migration goals and timelines.
