About the Role:
- Collaborate with a global team of engineers to monitor and respond to security events, lead incidents as Incident Commander, and conduct digital forensic investigations.
- Support Employee Relations, Legal, Compliance, and Information Security cases while building runbooks and automated workflows.
What You'll Do:
- Monitor security events and provide technical analysis on alerts.
- Lead security incidents from strategy through closure, providing updates to key stakeholders.
- Champion Samsara's cultural principles as we scale globally.
Who You Are:
- Experienced in security incident response with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in Python and familiar with SIEM tools, cloud security (AWS, GCP), and forensics on macOS, Windows, and Linux.
- A collaborative, humble, and practical security expert ready to join a global on-call rotation.
