Job Description
As our first finance hire beyond the CFO, you will play a foundational role in building the internal finance function. You'll help establish scalable financial processes, partner cross-functionally to support growth initiatives, and provide critical insights that enable data-driven decisions across the company. This is a high-impact role with visibility into all areas of the business. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) includes owning and evolving the company-wide operating model to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning. Leading monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting and forecasting processes. Building and maintaining cash flow and scenario models across B2B and D2C revenue streams. Analyzing unit economics, CAC, LTV, margin trends, and channel performance to inform strategic decisions. Operational Finance & Accounting supports the month-end close process in partnership with outsourced accountants. Managing vendor payment approvals, expense tracking, and revenue recognition processes. Assists with audit readiness and financial compliance. Strategic Finance & Growth Enablement partners with sales, marketing, and ops to forecast demand, optimize pricing, and evaluate GTM strategies. Provide financial inputs into product launches, customer acquisition plans, and inventory planning. Help prepare materials for board meetings, investor updates, and fundraising activities. Systems & Reporting drives the implementation of tools and workflows for accurate, timely financial reporting. Develop dashboards and reporting packages for key company and department-level KPIs.
