New Intake Therapist (Illinois License) - Contractor Remote

Provides high-quality virtual mental health care to students in school districts nationwide! We are seeking licensed therapists who are passionate about delivering mental health support through virtual intakes and assessments for students (K-12). This role offers the flexibility of working as an independent contractor while supporting our mission of accessible mental health care. You will be conducting initial mental health intakes and assessments for K-12 students.  You will be doing the following: Conduct initial intakes and assessments with children in grades K-12 and their parent/guardian.  Collaborate with other Hazel Mental Health Therapists to ensure children successfully transition into our services. May provide ongoing virtual counseling and solution-focused therapeutic interventions for children in grades K-12, as needed. Provide culturally relevant and age-appropriate counseling and treatment. Collaborate with Hazel’s care management team to identify and support transition services. Maintain relationships and engage with school personnel, family members, and stakeholders. Obtain necessary state- or district-required credentialing, as requested by Hazel’s credentialing department.
