Role Overview:
- Lead mechanical design on converting and packaging line projects, ensuring execution within scope, cost, and schedule.
- Develop concepts, deliverables, and design packages while soliciting and reviewing equipment bids.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delegate design work, perform QAQC, and lead design reviews with clients and internal teams.
- Interface with clients and vendors, provide startup support and troubleshooting, and coach other engineers.
Qualifications:
- BS in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and 10+ years of relevant engineering experience.
- Preferred: 15+ years in towel/tissue or paper converting systems, web handling, and simulation software.
