Tax Associate, Tax Controversy

Aprio is seeking a Tax Associate to join their Tax Controversy team. In this role, responsibilities include assisting in the preparation and review of responses to tax authority inquiries, notices, and audit requests, as well as conducting research on various tax issues. The Tax Associate will analyze client financial records, prepare documentation for tax controversy cases, and collaborate with senior team members on strategies for resolving tax disputes, participating in client meetings and maintaining detailed records of all tax controversy activities and communications. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, 1-3 years of relevant experience, a strong understanding of tax laws, and excellent analytical and communication skills.
