Oversee the medical safety profile for assigned products, interacting with colleagues to implement safety and benefit-risk assessment strategies. Lead the interpretation of safety data and communication of its impact on development plans or study design. Mentor Global Safety Leaders (GSL) and PV Scientists, supporting team evaluations for presentations to the Takeda Safety Board. Manage responses to emerging safety signals and evaluate projects for new business development opportunities. Ensure high-quality analyses of safety information for regulatory submissions and interactions with authorities worldwide. Assist in assessing regulatory intelligence implications and developing strategies for adapting processes. Oversee risk management plans, identify safety concerns, and develop contingency strategies. Maintain professional knowledge through continuing medical education and foster a community of continual learning.
