As a PK Scientist, you will perform protocol writing of Phase 1 clinical pharmacology studies, pharmacokinetic and/or pharmacodynamic analysis using non-compartmental methods, and reporting for clinical trials. The Patient Engagement Specialist provides service for inbound pharmacy phone calls and places outbound patient refill calls, assisting the patient through the entire refill process. This role involves responding to patient requests, assisting with prescription drug plan coverage, and resolving adjudication error messages. They serve as a point of contact between patients, pharmacy, liaisons, clinical providers, and internal functional areas.

Proactively grow the specialty pharmacy patient population by making outbound phone calls to eligible patients and enrolling them with Shields Partner Pharmacy. Educate patients on the services offered by the Shields Specialty Pharmacy Program. Protect Shields values by keeping information confidential.

Engage in scientific exchange and collaborate with Uro-Oncology disease experts and product information as well as research initiatives providing scientific and/or medical expertise. Thoroughly understand Uro Oncology as a therapeutic area serving as a scientific/medical resource. Present scientific and clinical data and disease state awareness in response to requests for information to therapeutic area specialists, practitioners, investigators, research coordinators, site personnel and internal partners.

Reporting to the Associate Director, Formulation Sciences, the Senior Manager, Formulation Sciences will follow programs through the development stages and play a pivotal role as a drug product subject matter expert in supporting all matters relating to drug product development and manufacturing; the Senior Manager will lead technical transfers, oversee drug product process development and manufacturing, and design DOEs to proof a process design space.

Provides clinical support to OHSU Pharmacy Benefit Management Services which includes formulary management, coverage determinations, Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee support, responding to clinical inquiries, and implementing clinical programs. You will respond to clinical inquiries from members, clients, providers, or pharmacies related to formulary options, therapeutic alternatives, and coverage determinations.
