As a Pharmacy Technician on the Shared Services team, you’ll play a vital role in supporting patients across multiple functions—from onboarding and outreach to refill coordination and financial assistance in a collaborative environment where your experience and empathy make a real impact.

The Therapy Management Clinical Pharmacist will support the site TM program by providing pharmaceutical care services to patients, working remotely and collaborating closely with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication therapies. The pharmacist performs phone-based assessments on disease state management and drug therapy education stratified based on medication risk level and approved clinic protocol, focusing to identify, resolve, and prevent medication-related problems and overcome barriers to adherence.

Provide integrated support to patients and physicians by providing a hands-on approach to improve the quality of patient care. This is accomplished by developing personalized relationships with patients and prescribers to improve medication adherence and promote evidence-based care. Review and interpret patient care notes/assessments for supportive clinical data needed for prior authorization approvals. Monitor patient adherence across all sites and disease categories.

This role will be for a 3-6 month contract and is ideal for a strategic thinker with excellent communication and conflict resolution skills. Your day-to-day will center around routine employee relations support, and you may occasionally assist with more complex investigations. You may also be called upon to support special projects or assist with generalist HR tasks as needed.

Primarily supports the patient outreach team by assisting to onboard/enroll patients onto the Shields hospital partner pharmacy program and assisting the benefit verification team by running test claims to determine copay amounts and patient eligibility checks. This role is a great opportunity for someone to learn some of the patient facing skills for future career growth opportunities.

This role provides leadership for the Patient Support team. You will lead supervisors and team members, ensuring best practices, support, and professional development. Key responsibilities include overseeing patient medication refill administration and inquiries, managing team productivity, resolving escalations, and identifying improvement opportunities. You will work with stakeholders to ensure proper staffing and training, participate in talent acquisition, and develop future leaders.
