Reporting to the Vice President, Translational Science, this position is responsible for providing strategic and scientific expertise, representing Clinical Pharmacology (CP) in the dynamic cross-functional clinical development team, as well as collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the tactical execution of our CP strategy.
The Senior Director, Clinical Pharmacology is responsible for developing clinical pharmacology plans and overseeing the execution of these plans across therapeutic areas and in all phases of clinical development. This leadership role will have direct reports and is an integral member of the project team and serves as the clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics lead for individual asset(s).
Provide integrated support to patients and physicians by providing a hands-on approach to improve the quality of patient care. This is accomplished by developing personalized relationships with patients and prescribers to improve medication adherence and promote evidence-based care. Review and interpret patient care notes/assessments for supportive clinical data needed for prior authorization approvals. Monitor patient adherence across all sites and disease categories.
