As a Care Support Specialist (Medical Assistant) at Steadfast Health, you’ll be at the heart of the inpatient consultation model, supporting patients and clinical teams β€” all while working 100% remote. You’ll serve as the first point of contact for patients and their care teams, ensuring every interaction is welcoming, empathetic, and supportive. You’ll manage patient intake, scheduling, and data entry, while providing seamless operational support.

Undertake assessments including activities of daily living, home, worksite, functional, ergonomic, equipment assessments. Identifying Return to Work (RTW) barriers, liaising with clients, insurers, medical practitioners and employers to achieve outcomes appropriate for all parties. Designing, implementing and monitoring programs that assist injured employees to return to the workforce.

This opportunity involves delivering holistic, client-centered services within workplace rehabilitation. You will assist injured workers to recover at work and achieve independence at home, in the workplace, and the community, improving their wellbeing and purpose in life. Day to day tasks include workplace assessments, rehabilitation counselling, and medical case conferences.
