Mid-Level Cost Accountant

The Mid-Level Cost Accountant will manage and analyze product costs, including manufacturing, BOMs, freight, duties, and landed costs. They will oversee cost allocations for digital app subscriptions, including platform fees, transaction charges, and related costs. This role involves detailed variance analysis between standard and actual costs, identifying root causes and improvement opportunities. The accountant will partner with operations and FP&A to forecast COGS and model new product cost scenarios. They'll build and maintain accurate cost reports and dashboards to inform executive decision-making, and ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and internal control frameworks. Collaboration with global finance, supply chain, and digital operations teams is essential to align cost methodologies across regions. They will also drive process automation and accuracy improvements using ERP and BI tools.
