Job Overview:
- The National Director role is a field-based, non-promotional medical and scientific leadership role.
- Responsible for leading a national disease area field medical team comprised of MSLs and RMLs.
- Accountable for successful execution of the team’s field medical strategic plan.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and translate medical strategies into field medical initiatives.
- Define external stakeholder mapping and engagement strategy.
- Develop and ensure execution of scientific communication plans.
Qualifications and Preferred Skills:
- Advanced scientific or healthcare degree required; doctoral degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years in the pharmaceutical industry with roles of increasing complexity.
- Experience managing and developing high performing team(s) required.
