Job Description

Occupational Therapists at AXIS help students build the practical, emotional, and physical skills they need to navigate school and daily life with greater independence. Working in a virtual model, they bring creativity and clinical insight to each session, adapting strategies that fit both the student’s environment and unique needs. Their work supports not just function, but confidence, helping students participate more fully in their education. Requirements include a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program, an Ohio Board License in Occupational Therapy, an Ohio Department of Education 5-Year Pupil Services License OR Pupil Services Registration, and 2+ years of experience in a school setting. The role requires professional integrity, accountability, collaboration, communication, adaptability, problem solving, cultural competence and time management.
