Responsibilities:

  • Lead engineering analyses and develop preliminary and detailed designs.
  • Serve as the Geotechnical Engineer of Record on major projects.
  • Grow, mentor, and support a team of geotechnical professionals.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • BS in Civil Engineering (geotechnical emphasis required); MS or PhD preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in flood resilience, flood control, or water resources engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license with the ability to obtain reciprocity in multiple states.

Additional Skills:

  • Strong familiarity with USACE, FEMA , and other relevant standards and procedures.
  • Exceptional communication and technical writing skills.
  • Expertise with geotechnical analysis tools such as GeoStudio, CWALSHT, CTShoring, Ensoft suite, HELIX, DeepEx , and similar programs.
