Responsibilities:
- Lead engineering analyses and develop preliminary and detailed designs.
- Serve as the Geotechnical Engineer of Record on major projects.
- Grow, mentor, and support a team of geotechnical professionals.
Required Skills & Experience:
- BS in Civil Engineering (geotechnical emphasis required); MS or PhD preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in flood resilience, flood control, or water resources engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license with the ability to obtain reciprocity in multiple states.
Additional Skills:
- Strong familiarity with USACE, FEMA , and other relevant standards and procedures.
- Exceptional communication and technical writing skills.
- Expertise with geotechnical analysis tools such as GeoStudio, CWALSHT, CTShoring, Ensoft suite, HELIX, DeepEx , and similar programs.
