As one of our civil engineers you will be responsible for undertaking designs of technical solutions, preparing specifications and briefing documents for our in-house construction teams, contractors and consultants, working to conserve and enhance our navigable waterways for future generations.

Manage the in-house civil design team and develop comprehensive civil designs for utility-scale solar projects, including site layouts, grading plans, earthwork analysis, erosion control, stormwater management systems, access roads, and foundation designs, ensuring designs adhere to all relevant regulations and codes.

Lead site design efforts across a range of projects, from small backyard ADUs to large-scale developments requiring full entitlement. The role involves preparing site plans, permitting documents, and construction plan sets, coordinating AutoCAD drawings, and collaborating with internal teams to refine project requirements and document standards.

This individual contributor role provides civil engineering direction and oversight for data center designs and engages with internal & external stakeholders, authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ), external Architectural/Engineering (A/E) consultants and general contractors to ensure that the data center civil engineering design meets applicable code and industry requirements.

The Engineer, Development Engineering will work independently within a team to conduct early-stage due diligence, power plant design, optimization & analytics, and manage internal/external stakeholder expectations across multiple renewable projects.
