About the Role:

  • This role pairs deep civil certification expertise with people leadership for military airworthiness and cyber certification.
  • You will own civil certification directly while leading the military airworthiness lead and cyber certification lead.
  • Reporting to the VP of Airworthiness & Certification, you will enable robust, certifiable autonomous systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Support current New Zealand CAANZ activities and lead civil certification strategy with FAA and foreign authorities.
  • Manage all aspects of civil certification projects: process standardization, compliance strategies, issue papers, and risk assessments.
  • Oversee military airworthiness certification strategy and cyber security certification strategy across programs.

Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of aerospace certification experience with significant FAA and foreign certification exposure.
  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field; master's preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead certification of complex novel aircraft technologies and manage cross-functional teams.
