Director, Operational Risk

Reporting to our Chief Operating Officer, you will lead, develop, and coordinate the implementation of first line of defense Risk management programs. Manage and develop the Operational Risk team. Partner with senior leadership to create risk-management strategies to ensure key risks are appropriately identified and managed. Oversee business line adherence to the Issue Management Policy, including the front-line-unit implementation of the program requirements. Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures. Collaborate with senior leadership and business units to integrate risk considerations into strategic planning and business objectives. Support the business through internal/external audits or regulatory examinations and assists in development of action plans to resolve any identified issues. Continually improve the Operational Risk team’s operating model and reporting to more effectively and efficiently fulfill its mission.
