Job Description
As the Commercial Counsel, you will lead all commercial negotiations across the organization, including procurement, tech services, SaaS subscriptions, and affiliate agreements. You will also draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of contracts (MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, DPAs, partnership agreements, influencer agreements). Develop sophisticated legal positions that balance risk management with business objectives and become a key legal contact for the affiliate network and ensure terms are both compliant and business-aligned.
Design and implement scalable contract workflows with clear metrics, timelines, and accountability. Proactively identify bottlenecks in commercial processes and implement effective solutions, leading cross-functional process improvement initiatives to enhance contract velocity. Moreover, maintain and improve contract templates, playbooks, and fallback positions and develop comprehensive negotiation guidelines that enable consistent, efficient deal execution. Partner closely with finance, procurement, compliance, and business development teams to streamline deal workflows.
