Director - FP&A - Government Contracting - Private Equity Advisory

About the Role:

• Serve clients within the "Office of the CFO" at private equity portfolio companies, creating diagnostic frameworks and enhancing finance function effectiveness.
• Act as a subject matter expert in the GovCon industry vertical, driving financial planning, indirect rate strategy, and compliance-aligned reporting.

What You'll Do:

• Build and refine indirect rate structures, provisional billing rates, and rate variance analyses for accurate job costing and profitability.
• Develop and optimize planning tools for cost-plus, T&M, and FFP contracts, including bid pricing support and should-cost analyses.
• Oversee concurrent FP&A engagements, including forecasting redesign, cash flow management, KPI frameworks, and interim FP&A support.

What You'll Bring:

• 10+ years of senior FP&A or consulting experience with significant exposure to middle-market PE-owned businesses and the GovCon sector.
• Deep knowledge of DCAA/DCMA compliance, FAR, DFARS, CAS, and government contract economics.
• Strong financial modeling skills, executive communication abilities, and comfort with AI tools and data analytics platforms.
