Principal Program Manager

This Project Professional understands the need to communicate, influence, and drive change through organizations and has experience working with program and project teams in a matrix structured, geographically dispersed organization, is extremely professional and organized, detail orientated and can efficiently multi-task in every situation. As Principal Program Manager, you will be expected to: Provide leadership for all technical, cost control and operational actions required to successfully meet contractual obligations. Ensure client satisfaction for designated contract deliverable commitments. Primary responsibility effective management of integrated solutions, ensuring that the specified quality and efficiency of deliverables is met within the budgetary and timeline objectives. Applies an appropriate program management framework for assigned programs – planning and monitoring performance, managing the daily operations of personnel assigned to the Program Team, ensuring production of contractual deliverables and managing Program risks. Leads team members on a matrix managed approach. Serve as the focal point for Program resource planning. Provide leadership and communication to customers and internal Hitachi Solutions stakeholders on Program progressions, challenges, threats, risks, etc. Mentor and guide Program team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. Implement a quality management plan to monitor processes and quality control activities including health reviews, stage gates and deliverable reviews. Drive vendor and partner management, including status reporting, RAID log management and issue resolution, performance monitoring, and change control. Champion Program governance, compliance, and reporting standards in line with Hitachi best practices.
