Software Engineer (Repositories)

What You'll Do:

• Build and improve customer-facing registries, APIs, and artifact-serving systems that make Chainguard software easy to consume securely and reliably.
• Develop and operate backend services in Go, contributing to scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with engineers and product partners to deliver a cohesive repository experience.

What We're Looking For:

• 2+ years building software with experience in backend or infrastructure systems.
• Experience with Go or strong programming in another language and the ability to learn Go quickly.
• Strong engineering fundamentals, collaboration, and a systems-oriented mindset.
