Head of Product Design

This role involves shaping the design across all product lines and setting a high bar for craft, while still designing meaningful parts of the product yourself. The Head of Product Design will develop and drive the overall experience design vision aligned with company goals and product roadmap. You will own the design system, along with a plan for evolutionary implementation to bring the vision to reality over time.

Responsibilities include conducting user research to gain deep insights into user behavior and needs, and utilizing findings to inform and validate design decisions. Collaborating with product and engineering to prioritize and spec out new features is crucial. The Head of Product Design will work directly with engineering to ensure a feature gets built, balancing your vision and technical feasibility.

Ideal candidates will have 8+ years of UX product design experience and experience mentoring other designers. Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with partners across teams, particularly in engineering is needed. The individual should be invested in their craft and have experience with data visualization and interaction design.
