Risk Data Scientist

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and assess risk by conducting in-depth analysis of financial data, transaction patterns, and user behavior to identify potential credit, fraud, and compliance risks.
• Develop and implement risk controls by partnering with product, engineering, and data science teams to design, build, and deploy automated decisioning systems that balance user experience with platform safety.
• Contribute to strategic planning by providing valuable insights and recommendations to leadership on risk trends, policy improvements, and long-term risk strategy to support Found's growth and expansion.

Qualifications:

• Strong analytical mindset with experience working with large datasets to derive actionable insights, proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Strong communication skills to clearly articulate complex risk issues and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to influence and partner with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
