Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineering to define the technical architecture and strategy for risk management systems and tools.
• Work with Risk, Engineering, Security, Compliance, Product, and Operations teams to define risk metrics, success criteria, and decision frameworks.
• Analyze fraud, scam, and abuse patterns on crypto and fiat products.

What success looks like in the first 3-6 months:

• Establish a clear baseline for key risk metrics including fraud losses, scam exposure, false positives, customer friction, and operational efficiency.
• Define the measurement approach for key risk controls, including how to evaluate impact, trade-offs, and unintended consequences.
• Conduct high-impact investigations that identify concrete opportunities to reduce risk or improve customer experience.
