Staff Backend Engineer - Developer Experience

The DevEx team is the pillar between the Tide product focused engineering teams and our platform engineering team. This role involves driving the improvement of Java and Python CI/CD pipelines, leading initiatives to improve tooling, championing best practices in software development and agile methodologies, training junior engineers, and working with other teams to ensure DevEx solutions meet the needs of the business. Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go is required, along with API development knowledge. Automation skills including Infrastructure as Code and experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and EKS are essential. A track record of mentoring junior engineers is also required.
