About the Role:
- Senior individual contributor on the Reliability team, owning database performance and reliability.
- Work with CockroachDB and PostgreSQL in a distributed, payments-scale environment.
What You'll Do:
- Diagnose and improve slow queries, indexes, and distributed database issues.
- Guide engineering teams on schema migrations, design reviews, and incident response.
- Own database observability, backup validation, and capacity planning.
