What you'll do:
- Build and operate the control plane for large-scale distributed SQL databases such as MySQL and TiDB.
- Design and execute zero-downtime schema and data migrations across multi-tenant clusters.
- Own the networking stack connecting services to storage on Kubernetes, including proxies like ProxySQL.
What we look for:
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with backend systems at scale.
- In-depth hands-on expertise in distributed databases, SQL tuning, and performance optimization.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive ownership mindset.
