This is an Individual Contributor role working as part of the UK team and collaborating closely and cross functionally with teams in the US and Canada. You will be part of the Affirm UK Sales organization driving the expansion of Affirm’s Enterprise business in the UK.

You will be responsible for setting technical strategy for your team on a year-long time scale, and help your team tie it together with critical, business-impacting projects. By collaborating with product management, design & analytics, you will ensure technical sustainability, risks and trade-offs are well understood and managed. You will foster a culture of quality and ownership on your team.

Focus will be on analytical tools development, working with engineers and data scientists around the company to improve the usability of the take-up and loan cashflow models. Engage with other stakeholders around Affirm to tailor models to the needs of Merchant Pricing, Credit, Applied Machine Learning, Finance, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem solving skills with solid knowledge of analytical tools.

Responsible for owning and delivering quarterly goals for your team, leading engineers on your team through ambiguity to solve open-ended problems, and ensuring that everyone is supported throughout delivery. You will support your peers and stakeholders in the product development lifecycle. You will proactively identify project, process, technology or business issues, advocate for them, and lead in solving them.

Lead the Trust & Safety team at Affirm, shaping the future of consumer financial services, commerce, and payments by focusing on consumer onboarding and identity verification. Optimize sign-up and sign-in experiences, utilizing data integrations and risk-decisioning systems to ensure seamless customer experiences by leading a team responsible for building flows to connect consumers with Affirm’s lending and payment solutions.

Contribute to the success of our ML Underwriting team leveraging cutting-edge machine learning to assess creditworthiness throughout the life cycle of loan applications. Develop high-quality, production-ready models that play a central role in our decision-making processes. Your contributions will be instrumental in shaping our financial landscape.

The Infrastructure team is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineering leader for our growing Cloud Cost Management team to develop frameworks, systems, and tools to create a culture of ownership and accountability for infrastructure costs. You will lead technical decisions, projects, and roadmaps within the Infrastructure team, shaping Affirm’s strategy for managing our multi-million dollar annual spend.

Use Affirm’s proprietary and other third party data to develop machine learning models that predict the likelihood of default and make an approval or decline decision to achieve business objectives. Partner with platform and product engineering teams to build model training, decisioning, and monitoring systems. Research ground breaking solutions and develop prototypes that drive the future of credit decisioning at Affirm.

The Fraud Operations Team is looking to fill an investigator position on the Fraud Servicing Team. The ideal candidate will work case queues and take ownership of a variety of responsibilities, ranging from ad hoc reviews to more complex projects. They should have a deep understanding of their specific work and case types, as well as familiarity with the operations of other Ops teams.

This role involves leading Affirm’s Strategic Finance (FP&A) function and working cross-functionally to drive better decision-making across the organization. The VP will oversee the company’s budget and financial planning processes, perform financial analyses, and provide financial guidance to business partners.

The Fraud Operations Team is looking for a specialist to fill a Compliance Investigations position. The ideal candidate will work on multiple case queues and take ownership of responsibilities like ad hoc reviews, sanctions and PEP alerts, and bank partner escalations. They should have a deep understanding of their specific work and case types, and be able to prioritize tasks, resolve issues, and meet production and accuracy goals.
