We’re seeking a Full Stack Engineer with a backend focus to join our Threat Hunting and Advanced Solutions team to build high-impact product features and workflows on top of the Censys platform. You’ll design and deliver apis that power core experiences in the platform, while also contributing to frontend features to shape how customers discover, investigate, and respond to threats on the Internet.

As a Principal NodeJS Backend Developer, you will act as a technical leader and strategic partner within our Engineering organization. Beyond building high-quality backend services, you will set technical direction, mentor engineers across levels, and influence cross-team decisions that shape the scalability, reliability, and performance of Voicemod’s platform. This role is about amplifying engineering impact and guiding architectural evolution.
This role introduces and customizes automation into data extraction and labeling pipelines. This role also designs and improves metrics pipelines and creates monitoring dashboards to track performance of perception systems in production. You will build and maintain infrastructure and ETL pipelines for training, validating, and deploying ML models, as well as infrastructure for interfacing with third party labeling companies. You will ensure reproducibility, traceability, and observability of Perception workflows.
