Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct DMSMS assessments to identify obsolete components and evaluate impact.
  • Develop mitigation strategies including alternate selection, technology refreshes, and FPGA redesigns.
  • Support schematic updates, PCB design reviews, signal integrity, and EMI/EMC considerations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in FPGA development or embedded hardware engineering in safety-critical environments.
  • Proficiency with AMD/Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus, or Microchip Libero, and VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog.

Certification and Collaboration:

  • Experience with DO-254, DO-160, ARP4754A, and ARP4761.
  • Familiarity with avionics interfaces such as ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, Ethernet, PCIe.
  • Collaborate across hardware, systems, software, certification, and program teams.
